DBC - Second Lockdown Statement

To all our great customers, friends and colleagues
 
Well 2020 is certainly been the year that keeps us on our toes, a time when the importance of friends and family have never been so strong and supporting our communities to ensure we can bounce forward after all this is behind us.
 
We would like to thank all of our customers who have supported us since we returned to our covid secure venues and of course enjoyed our beers both during and after lockdown in what has started to feel like we were gradually coming back to normality.
 
I can’t believe that I’m writing this but as we start a second lock down, one with much discussion of its merits but we do hope that this will have the desired affect and we will be able to return with reduced restrictions, most notably the much maligned and unscientific curfew, as we believe adding restrictions which encourage leaving the safest setting in favour of others makes no sense.
 
We are delighted to have been able to safe guarded our team at this difficult time, I would of course like to take this opportunity to thank all of our team who have worked tirelessly to evolve our offer, to ensure we can operate safely in our covid secure venues. 
 
Going forward three of our four pubs will be closed for the period of lockdown The Tap, Greyhound & Pig in Lichfield and the Hole in the Wall will return to its off license offering pre ordered take out beers once again. All orders can be made via the Hole in the Wall Facebook page or our Derby Brewing App with collection from the door. We are delighted the government has decided to allow this crucial lifeline for pubs, brewers and local communities.

Christmas
 
Understandably we are all looking forward to celebrating both Christmas and our returned freedoms this year, with this in mind our social media and emails will still be being monitored for bookings from 3rd December onwards, to give you all something to look forward to.
