Work starts on Hole In The Wall Mickleover
We are thrilled to announce that works have now started on the Hole in the Wall, Mickleover. After working on this project for over a year and after some unexpected delays we are thrilled to finally get this exciting project underway. Our latest pub will be our fifth venue with an anticipated opening of November, with further sites to follow.
The former NatWest bank in heart of Mickleover will undergo an extensive renovation, and the creation of Derby Brewing Co’s first Micro Pub. The pub will have an upmarket local feel, although slightly smaller than our current pubs around 50 thirsty guests can be accommodated with the usual extensive drink’s selection, including our own award-winning ales, hand selected craft beers plus artisan spirits, wines of the world and fresh award-winning teas and coffees. Food wise there will be an array of fresh, homemade bar snacks to accompany our drinks range.
Mickleover has long been a target location for DBC, of course Trevor ran the Vine for a number of years, we will look to create something new for Mickleover showcasing our own award-winning beers in the heart of Mickleover.
Managing Director of Derby Brewing, Paul Harris, said: “We are delighted to start works on this project which has been a long time in the making, in a location we have targeted for a long time. Our first Micropub, we look forward to showcasing our take on a great concept for the people of Mickleover.”
Director of Brewing of Derby Brewing, Trevor Harris, said: “We can’t wait to get our beer flowing in the heart of Mickleover, a place I have many great memories of and look forward to being part of once again.”
